The Story Behind Kitti’s
Kitti’s takes its name from the kittiwake, a coastal bird known to nest along Saltdean’s cliffs. It’s also a nod to the old Kittiwake Hotel that once stood nearby. Rooted in local history and shaped by the rhythm of the sea. Kitti’s is run by a professional team with years of experience in the industry, Kitti’s offers thoughtful hospitality without fuss. It’s not a pub a diner or a fine dining restaurant, just good food, good service, and sea views.
Interiors
Soft tones, natural textures and clean lines create a calm, comfortable space that feels rooted in its coastal setting. Timber details and vintage-inspired furniture keep things simple, with plenty of light and a clear sense of flow throughout. Designed for ease, with the sea always in view.
Your visit
All Day Dining
Morning coffee, breakfast, lunch and light plates are served throughout the day, with a view of the sea. The menu is short, seasonal and changes often, focused on good ingredients and considered cooking. Walk-ins are welcome, or you can book a table online.
Wine, Cocktails et al
A small, focused list of wines, cocktails and soft drinks sits alongside the menu. Expect seasonal spritzes, classic serves and low-intervention wines from independent producers. Everything is chosen to complement the food and the setting, with a few extras for those just passing through.
